Recreation Engineering has been involved in many critical incident investigations.  Manufacturers and owner/operators have called upon REI for its expertise in incident and accident investigation.  Years of conducting field examinations and equipment documentation coupled with amusement industry experience gives REI an added edge when filtering through the aftermath of an incident.   Priority treatment is given to evidence preservation, documentation and collection.

REI professional engineers have expressed opinions by deposition and courtroom testimony when incident investigations are involved in litigation. 

REI holds findings, facts and information from investigations in the strictest of confidence.  The examples shown here are from a closed investigation and our report was made a matter of public record by the investigating authorities.
